About the Course


Joseph Lloyd Manor House was completed in 1767 for Joseph Lloyd and was the center of the Manor of Queens Village, a 3,000-acre provisioning plantation established in the late 17th century on the ancestral lands of the Matinecock Nation.

Raynham Hall is a colonial era house, which belonged to the Townsend family of Oyster Bay, dating from 1740, when Samuel Townsend purchased the property. 


Cost of trip includes coach bus transportation to and from Clark Botanic Garden, 192 I.U. Willets Road, Albertson, NY, entrance fees and guided tours of the Joseph Lloyd Manor House in Lloyd Harbor and Raynham Hall in Oyster Bay, and lunch at Wild Honey, located in an historic building in downtown Oyster Bay.

Clark Botanic Garden is owned, operated, and maintained by the Town of North Hempstead. Both The Fanny Dwight Clark Memorial Garden, Inc. and Town of North Hempstead are collaborative partners in a historical Conservation Easement to protect the space in perpetuity.
