About the Course
Rewilding is a term to describe sustainable landscaping practices to enhance biodiversity and climate resilience, with an emphasis on native plants, and the insects, bees, birds and butterflies that depend on them. Dr. Palsdottir is a scientist and educator at the LI Science Museum and the Nassau County Cooperative Extension. She will discuss strategies to replace sterile conventional monocultures with wildlife with nature friendly vibrant native and organic gardens.
