Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw but didn't know where to start? Do you love all things nature and want to pick up a new hobby? Are you an artist but want to work on your botanical rendering skills? 

Our course is meant for you! Our beginner-friendly drawing class incorporates live plant samples with basic drawing techniques in graphite and other dry media. In 5 classes you will learn about light, value, form, texture and much more!

Classes will be held once a week for 5 weeks.

The 5 class session is $150 per student.

This is an adult education course, students must be 18+ to enroll.

Materials needed for this course will be:

· 18x24" pad drawing paper

· graphite drawing pencils in varying hardness (6b, 4b, 2b, hb, 2h, 4h etc.)

· moldable soft gray eraser or pink eraser

· exacto knife or pencil sharpener

· small sketchbook (optional)

(Materials are not supplied by Clark Botanic Garden, must be purchased separately prior to the first day of class.)
