About the event

Long Island’s nearness to the Atlantic Ocean and the Sound have been both a blessing and a curse. The ocean brought the first explorers and the colonists to our shores. It was also that same ocean that brought pirates, midnight raiders and Prohibition era Rumrunners.

The story continues to this day. Join noted Long Island historian Noel Gish for an informative and lively discussion.
